I'm the mother of three wonderful children and wife to my wonderful husband of almost 14 years. I started "running" in 2009 when I had my "mid-life crisis" and decided running would be the cure. I had been walking regularly for more than a year and this seemed like the logical next step. Using C25K (Couch to 5K) I prepared for and ran my first 5k at Disneyland in September 2009. I've been running ever since and have developed a serious addiction to race bling :). I barely consider myself a runner and know that my extra weight slows me down, but this is a journey towards a better me and not a one day event so I keep slogging along and keep working on getting better.
